PNN – The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson warned that if weapons are supplied to Kyiv, damage to relations between Russia and both Turkey and the United States would be inevitable.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated on Saturday that the ministry is calling on the United States and Turkey to provide clarification regarding information released by Congress concerning plans to send weapons to Kyiv.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson continued: It is not yet too late for the United States and Turkey to realistically assess the situation regarding plans to supply weapons to Kyiv. Should weapons be sent to Kyiv, damage to relations between Russia and both Turkey and the United States would be inevitable.
Maria Zakharova then added: Equipping the Ukrainian armed forces with new weaponry will not alter the course of events. The motives behind the US and Turkish decision to open a “Pandora’s box”—thereby prolonging the Kyiv regime’s troubles—remain unclear.
