Security Council meeting on Syria: America is the main sponsor of terrorists.
According to Al Jazeera, the escalation of tensions in Syria after a period of relative calm in the country has raised concerns about the country’s security. Therefore, the UN Security Council convened a meeting on the situation in the country.
Accordingly, in this meeting, the members of the Security Council discussed the latest developments in Syria and the advance of terrorists in the country.
Finally, these members expressed concern about the situation of civilians and minorities in Syria, while simultaneously escalating tensions in the country, and warned about the resurgence of terrorist groups such as ISIS.
The Security Council also called on all parties to the conflict in the country to protect the lives of civilians.
The Europeans, who were among the most important supporters of Syrian terrorists in 2011, were also affected by the consequences of the devastating Syrian war. In addition to the numerous ISIS terrorist attacks in the heart of Europe, the influx of millions of Syrian refugees into the European Union caused numerous problems for the members of the union, to the extent that some link the UK’s exit from the European Union (Brexit) to this issue.
Therefore, Western countries have now adopted a more lenient approach to the current events in Syria, and there is no longer any widespread sending of weapons or calls for Bashar al-Assad to step down from power.
