PNN – The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon stated that we reject negotiations with the usurper regime, as these negotiations are fruitless.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, expressed a series of positions on the field and political situation in Lebanon, strongly condemned the “aggression of America and Israel” and called on the Lebanese government to confront these conditions.

(Referring to the indirect agreement between Lebanon and Israel in November 2024) This agreement emphasized “a complete cessation of aggression, the release of prisoners, and the beginning of reconstruction,” but Israel did not implement a single clause in 15 months and continued to aggress with full American support.
We responded at the right time and it became clear that there was a very large attack plan against Lebanon. We prevented the enemy from being surprised and inflicting very heavy losses.
The enemy’s goal is clear: to destroy the power of Lebanon as a prelude to the Greater Israel project. For Israel, all of Lebanon is the target; occupying the south means occupying all of Lebanon, and spreading the slaughter throughout the country means targeting all of Lebanon.
The current situation is a battle to swallow Lebanon and destroy its people, its power, and its resistance. This war is not a war of northern security; it is an offensive to destroy Lebanon.
(Criticizing the government’s performance) In the event of aggression, it is the duty of the Lebanese government to confront the mobilization of the army and security forces. The weakness of the government can be justified, but it cannot be accepted that the government becomes a tool in the hands of Israel and weakens the Lebanese front through internal decisions.
The US and Israel want to “strengthen the army so that it can take up the weapons of resistance and fight its people,” but “this is not what the Lebanese army will do.
Because the existence and independence of Lebanon is being targeted, we have decided to resist and fight in the battle of the storm to defend the homeland.
These negotiations are fruitless and seek to change the Lebanese consensus from non-negotiation to direct negotiation. This process is part of the government’s harmful concessions, with which Lebanon, the nation, and the government are humiliated.
You say you want a ceasefire; but what do they say and what pressure tools do you have? Let’s confront the aggression together and then discuss the future.
Our decision is neither to calm down nor to surrender; the square speaks.
(Continuing his harsh criticism of the pro-Western Lebanese government): The Zionists want to consolidate their occupation, expand their sphere of influence, and exploit every soldier. Sovereignty, freedom, and protection of the people are the government’s duties; tell me what you have done and what have you achieved? Other than wasting time and opportunity?
The only path to maintaining sovereignty is the full implementation of the agreement: a complete cessation of aggression, the immediate withdrawal of the enemy from all lands, the release of prisoners, and the return of people to their homes, down to the last house in the border strip. Reconstruction must be carried out with an official decision, international support, and the participation of all supporters. These five points must be implemented first, then we Lebanese will be able to decide on the future.
If the aggression continues, we have two options: surrender, which will never happen, or confrontation.
The authorities must think about how to confront the aggression with all means.
If anyone is thinking of surrendering, let him go and surrender himself; we will never surrender and will remain in the field until our last breath.
We demand justice and show the world that Lebanon is invincible with its army, its people and its resistance to the enemy.
They attack us, not us; as long as the government helps facilitate the aggression, the enemy will continue to do so.
Do not distort the facts; we are fighting a clear enemy. This is Lebanon’s war against Israel-America; our land is occupied and our youth are being killed.
For us, time or the amount of sacrifice is not the criterion; our criterion is stability, maintaining pride, and liberating the land.
The destruction of homes and the creation of a buffer zone are major crimes, and the responsibility for them lies with the perpetrators.
The end of the aggression is not possible without reconstruction and the full return of the people.
The deployment of the Lebanese army south of the Litani River was the result of constructive cooperation between the government and the resistance; we facilitated and there was no tension with the army.
They wanted to remove Iran from power in order to plunder its wealth, but Iran surprised them with its resistance, sacrifice, and capabilities.
