PNN – A member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council stated that it is unacceptable for Yemeni territory to become an open arena for conflict and confrontation while Saudi Arabia’s soil and interests remain shielded from the repercussions of such hostilities.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al-Masirah, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor—a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council—warned against continued military maneuvers and attempts to impose new realities in the country. He declared that any action taken along these lines would be met with the necessary response to safeguard Yemen, its security, and its sovereignty.

Pointing to Saudi Arabia’s ongoing maneuvers, Bin Habtoor described these actions as part of an escalating trend, noting that economic and political pressures—as well as a severe blockade—had already been imposed on Yemen; a situation indicating that the option of escalating tensions remains on the table.

He also warned against attempts to shift the conflict into Yemen using local forces and groups, emphasizing that the use of such means would not absolve Saudi Arabia of responsibility for the consequences of these actions.
