An overview of the life of Seyyed Hasan Nasrallah
Martyr Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, born on August 31, 1960, was originally from the Al-Bazurieh region of Lebanon. At the age of 15, he joined the “Amal” movement. At 16, he went to the city of Najaf to study religious sciences, where he was tutored by Seyyed Mohammad Baqer Sadr and Seyyed Abbas Mousavi. The connection between the two of them at that time became eternal.
Seyyed Resist under the supervision of “Syed Abbas Mousavi” completed the 5-year preparatory courses within 2 years. But in 1978, under the pressure of the Iraqi Baath party, he was forced to leave Iraq and finally go to Baalbek seminary. There, he resumed his work in “Amal”. In 1982, when the Zionist regime invaded Lebanon, there was a split in the Amal movement, which caused Seyyed Abbas Mousavi and Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, along with several Shia youths, to separate from that movement due to the relationship between Bashir Jamil, the traitorous president of Lebanon at the time, and the Zionist regime—established Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Martyr Nasrallah went to Qom in 1989 to complete his seminary studies, but with the emergence and escalation of differences between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement, he returned to Lebanon in 1991, and in 1992, with the assassination of Seyed Abbas Mousavi, he was elected as the Secretary General of Hezbollah and until His martyrdom on September 28, 2024, remained in this position.

Strengthening security and military power
During the period of General Secretary “Seyd Hassan Nasrallah”, Hezbollah of Lebanon, by developing its military capabilities, was able to transform from a small group – which used light weapons in the civil wars of Lebanon and against the Zionist regime – into a powerful military group that can during the crisis in Syria went to the help of the Damascus government to save this member of the axis of resistance from the danger of disintegration and terrorism. Besides, during the last two decades, by adding drones to Hezbollah’s military organization, first in the intelligence field and then in the offensive field, it created a kind of balance against the Zionist regime. Although this capability is not comparable to the fifth-generation fighters that the Zionist regime received from the United States, having this new weapon has managed to create a kind of balance in favor of Hezbollah.
In addition to these, Hezbollah gained significant capabilities by entering electronic and cyber warfare, which can be seen in Hezbollah’s cyber attacks and the hunting of enemy drones.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, during his term as Secretary General, transformed Hezbollah from an internal movement into a regional power. A power that the Zionists identified as the most dangerous threat against the Zionist regime in their military strategy in 2015 and the Herzliya security conferences. An important advantage of Seyyed Hasan Nasrallah was his organizational work. In his last speech in September 2024, he said: I may not be among you for long.
