Tanker Trackers: Iran’s speedboats are a major obstacle to reopening the Strait of Hormuz

PNN – In response to the ridiculous claim made by the US Department of War last night, Tanker Trackers announced that Iran’s speedboats are a major obstacle to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, the Tanker Trackers website wrote on its X social media account: Iran’s small attack boats have been a constant problem for years. They operate under the management of the Revolutionary Guard and have the ability to attack their targets.

In response to the ridiculous claim last night by the US Department of War that it was attacking small Iranian boats in an attempt to open the Strait of Hormuz, the base added: Sinking larger naval vessels is not enough to open the Strait of Hormuz. It is these small boats that are prolonging the trouble.

The IRGC Navy had previously announced that warships are not allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz and that commercial ships can only pass through with permission from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Accordingly, due to the mischief of the American enemy, we are witnessing more stringent controls.

The US President had announced plans to resume traffic in the Strait of Hormuz in recent days, but yesterday, three vessels that attempted to illegally pass through the Strait of Hormuz were faced with warning shots from the IRGC and army naval forces and were forced to change course to the depths of the Persian Gulf.

Meanwhile, the US Navy’s claim that it had destroyed several IRGC vessels was denied by local and official sources.

According to local witnesses, the targeted vessels were civilian and cargo boats and landing craft that were carrying goods on their usual and historic route from Oman to Bandar Abbas. Unfortunately, five compatriots were martyred in this incident and the US must be held accountable for this crime.
