The possibility of an agreement between Tehran and Washington has increased.
According to Russia Al-Youm, Majid Al-Ansari, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, announced that after the agreement on the exchange of prisoners between Iran and the United States, the possibility of reaching new agreements between the two sides has increased.
Al-Ansari also said regarding the issue of Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy: it was agreed that the controversial issues in Iran’s nuclear case should be broken into smaller issues to make it easier to talk about them.
Referring to Qatar’s role in reaching an agreement between Tehran and Washington, the spokesman of Qatar’s foreign ministry said: “The presence of a human platform in Doha will make dialogue and reaching an agreement easier.”
Al-Ansari, while referring to Qatar’s position regarding the possible agreement between Iran and the United States on issues related to nuclear energy, added: “We are waiting for positive developments in this matter in the near future.”
By declaring Qatar’s opposition to the spread of nuclear weapons in the Middle East, he emphasized: that these types of weapons must be disarmed from the distant region and the regimes that possess nuclear weapons. Israel is at the head of these systems.
Referring to the role of the prisoner exchange agreement between Iran and the United States in possible future agreements, the spokesman of Qatar’s foreign ministry said: The exchange of prisoners between Tehran and Washington created a better atmosphere for a complete agreement regarding the nuclear issue.
