There is a long way to go for an agreement on the Gaza war

PNN – American sources believe that there is a long distance between the two sides of the Gaza war for an agreement.

According to Pakistan News Network, the American newspaper New York Times wrote in a report quoting officials and informed sources that the two sides are still far from freeing Palestinian prisoners for every Israeli prisoner, because the differences are very fundamental.

At the same time, the content of the negotiations was good despite the lack of progress, and after the departure of the Israeli delegation from Cairo, low-level officials continued the negotiations, informed officials told the New York Times.

The Zionist Army Radio announced that the negotiations in Cairo have ended and the Israeli delegation is returning to Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, Israel’s TV channel 12 confirmed that the Israeli delegation led by the head of the Mossad left Cairo without any signs of progress.

Hossam Badran, a member of Hamas’s political office, also said that it is too early to talk about the details of the ongoing negotiations in Cairo.

Badran added that Netanyahu understood that it is impossible to destroy Hamas and the resistance, so he was forced to negotiate.

Al-Arabi quoted a well-informed source as saying that the current round of negotiations in Cairo on the ceasefire in Gaza will last two or three days.

Earlier, a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas announced that there is currently no delegation from this movement in Cairo.

This senior member of Hamas emphasized: We are still waiting for the results of the current meetings in Cairo and the contacts with the mediators continue.

On the other hand, AFP reported, citing a diplomatic source, that the Zionist regime and the Hamas movement have taken forward steps in reaching a ceasefire agreement and the release of prisoners.

This news agency stated that an agreement has been on the table for 6 weeks, but it needs further investigation and today’s meeting is a decisive meeting.

The Wall Street Journal, citing some sources, announced that the Hamas movement and the Zionist regime have a difference regarding the duration of the ceasefire.
