PNN – Regarding the departure of the White House spokesperson who resigned, the US President claimed: Leavitt loved her children more than me!

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera, US President Donald Trump claimed on Sunday, while speaking to a reporter about the departure of White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt: Leavitt loved her children more than me.

The US President asserted: I realized that Karoline Leavitt loves her children more than Trump. That really worried me.

She subsequently sidestepped a reporter’s question regarding the replacement of Karoline Leavitt.

This comes as Jen Psaki, the former White House Press Secretary under Joe Biden, had previously criticized her counterpart on the Trump team, Karoline Leavitt, stating that Leavitt faced almost no tough questions in the briefing room and showed no willingness to engage in good-faith dialogue.

Speaking on the program “MS NOW” (formerly known as MSNBC)—where she was hired after concluding her tenure as Biden’s spokesperson in 2021 and 2022—Psaki said: The relationship between the press and the White House is inherently meant to be challenging and adversarial. I mean, the job of the reporters in the room is to push for greater access and more information. Karoline Leavitt had no intention of engaging in good faith with the reporters and their tough questions. Instead, she did her utmost to turn the press briefing room into her own personal safe space—a place where she rarely, if ever, had to answer a difficult question. She held briefings, at most, once or twice a week. The priority was pushing the version of the truth favored by that serial liar in the Oval Office (Trump). She never viewed her role as a form of public service or as that of a public servant. Leavitt’s conduct tarnished the standing of the position.
