PNN – 22 Iranian crew members of an oil tanker seized by the US were handed over to Iran in Karachi today.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, 22 Iranian crew members of an oil tanker that was illegally seized by the United States in international waters were handed over today to the representative of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the port of Karachi, following the follow-up of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the facilitating measures of the Pakistani government.
The Public Relations Office of the Iranian Consulate General in the port city of Karachi in southern Pakistan announced that a group of 22 Iranian crew members arrived at the Karachi Port dock today in the presence of officials from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry in Karachi and, after completing the emergency entry procedures, were handed over to the representative of the Consulate General.
The group of Iranian sailors, in coordination with the Consulate General of our country in Karachi, will return to the Islamic homeland in the coming days after completing the administrative procedures for handover and coordination with state authorities, settling and staying in a suitable place.
