PNN – A US media outlet has acknowledged that the USS Lincoln has been on a grueling mission for 200 consecutive days and is facing appalling living conditions.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing ABC News, Democratic Representative Ruben Gallego has sharply criticized the Trump administration over the poor conditions and the nine-month deployment of the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln in West Asia.
The ship has remained at sea for over 200 days without docking at a port, and reports have emerged regarding a severe decline in crew morale.
Gallego, himself a former Marine, attributed this situation to a “real lack of leadership” and the administration’s failure to plan for a war with Iran.
Retired Admiral Mike Mullen warned that such extended missions take a heavy toll on the crew and their families.
