PNN – Al Jazeera news outlet reported, citing a professor at Qatar University that Iran is applying maximum pressure against the US President, referring to the military power and authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Abdullah Bandar Al-Taibi, a professor at Qatar University, told Al Jazeera: Iran is implementing a strategy called the “weekend strategy,” similar to what US President Donald Trump used to do to avoid market reactions on weekends.
Al Jazeera quoted the Qatar University professor as saying: So Iran is actually putting maximum pressure on President Trump and also the mediators to essentially have the Strait of Hormuz for Lebanon.
He added: The Iranian side wants all the fighting in Lebanon to stop so that the Strait of Hormuz can be restored.
