PNN – Al Jazeera has refuted the claim made by the head of the US administration regarding the complete clearing of mines from the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the network’s report states: Experts say that while the US assessment regarding the clearing of mines from major shipping lanes may be plausible, this does not necessarily mean the Strait of Hormuz is completely free of mines, nor does it imply that commercial shipping can safely return to pre-war levels.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump—the head of the terrorist US administration—has recently claimed, in a fresh delusion, that the country’s navy has destroyed or cleared all mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Al Jazeera report adds that a small number of “drifting” mines may remain outside the heavily monitored shipping lanes, while Iran retains the capability to deploy additional mines.
At the same time, experts have warned that mines are just one aspect of the threats facing vessels passing through the strait.
According to these experts, in the absence of a ceasefire agreement, the prospect of a resumption of open conflict remains.
