Channel 12 quoted another Israeli official as saying: The ceasefire has begun and we will remain in the security zone. If we are attacked, we will respond.

Axios claims: Netanyahu has agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon

The American publication Axios, citing a White House official, claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to an extension of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

The Hebrew newspaper “Israel Hayom” also wrote, citing an Israeli source: We have returned to the ceasefire and will not launch any more attacks.

The Axios news agency also announced, citing an American official, that Israel and Hezbollah reached an agreement on a ceasefire after negotiations with Israel and Iran, with the mediation of the United States and Qatar.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Aharonot also quoted an Israeli official as saying: We agreed to a ceasefire and if Hezbollah does not attack, we will not attack either.

These developments come at a time when an Israeli army spokesman has said: Everything related to ceasefire agreements depends on the political leaders.

The ceasefire in Lebanon did not begin, it was violated

In the first minutes after the ceasefire was announced, the Zionist regime resumed its attacks on towns and villages in southern Lebanon.

An Al Jazeera correspondent reported Israeli airstrikes on areas in the Nabatiyeh district in southern Lebanon.

The Jabal Al-Rafia region in the Tuffah region was also targeted by artillery fire from the occupying army.

Local media reported the fourth Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of the town of Kafr Benit.

The town of Nabatiyeh al-Fuqa was also targeted by an airstrike.

The Israeli regime also targeted the al-Rayhan area in the city of Jizin.
