PNN – Foreign Minister of the Islamic republic of Iran, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stated during a call with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha that any aggression against our citizens or interests is unacceptable and that full compensation for damages must be made.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi referred to the call, stating: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha assured me that the attack on the Iranian vessel was unintentional and that Ukraine has no desire to escalate tensions.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic emphasized: Iran, too, does not seek an escalation of tensions; however, I explicitly stressed that any aggression against our citizens or interests is unacceptable. The damages and losses incurred must also be fully compensated.
