PNN – While Netanyahu emphasized the continuation of the military presence and complete freedom of action for the army in southern Lebanon, Israeli Army Radio announced the implementation of a plan to rotate forces and relocate combat units between the Gaza and Lebanese fronts.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, announced that he has ordered the regime’s military to have full freedom of action to counter any threat in Lebanon.
He also emphasized that the Zionist regime’s forces would not withdraw from southern Lebanon and that their military presence in the area would continue for as long as Tel Aviv deems necessary.
Netanyahu claimed that this presence is intended to defend the settlements in the north of occupied Palestine.
At the same time, the Israeli army radio reported that the regime’s army is implementing a plan to reduce some of the forces stationed in southern Lebanon and remove some combat brigades from operational lines.
According to the report, some of the forces will be transferred to the occupied territories for periods of “rehabilitation” and “increasing combat readiness.”
The Hebrew media added that this move is part of the army’s broader plan to reduce the size of operational forces on all fronts so that a number of units are in a state of readiness and training at any given time.
According to the report, these changes will affect the arrangement of forces on the northern and southern fronts, and the brigades that undergo training and preparation courses will act as a reserve force under the command of the General Staff of the Army.
It has also been announced that in the coming period, there will be a transfer between units stationed in Gaza and Lebanon, with some brigades being transferred to the northern front and others to the southern front of occupied Palestine.
