PNN – The Belgian Foreign Minister stated: Israel must not be allowed to continuously violate international law.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot told Al Jazeera: We do not seek to punish the people of Israel, but we condemn the conduct of the group that has violated international law. If Europe wishes to act as a geopolitical power, it must unify its stance.
The Belgian Foreign Minister added: To exert influence on the ground regarding Israel, we must act within the framework of a unified European position. Israel must not be allowed to continuously violate international law.
Maxime Prévot then added: The escalation of tensions by Netanyahu’s cabinet against certain European governments will lead to neither a quick nor a sustainable solution.
