PNN – The Israeli Minister of Internal Security has made a shameless suggestion against Lebanese women while the regime’s army is in a state of disarray against Hezbollah fighters.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Anadolu Agency, Israeli Minister of Internal Security Itamar Ben-Gwer called for intensifying measures against Lebanon during a meeting of the regime’s security cabinet.
Yesterday evening, the Israeli security cabinet held a meeting to discuss strategies to confront Hezbollah; the meeting was held in the wake of the unprecedented wave of bombings in southern Lebanon over the past three months. However, reports indicate that most cabinet members emphasized intensifying attacks, increasing bombings, and spreading destruction.
Meanwhile, the regime’s Minister of Internal Security, Itamar Ben-Gwer, also took a different but sharper stance.
He said, in addition to calling for increased airstrikes, that we must go beyond the usual framework, occupy more areas, and arrest and transfer women and their children to prison; this will put the greatest pressure on them.
At the same meeting, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar also warned, referring to the situation on the ground that Hezbollah is trying to push Israel towards a war of attrition.
Yitzhak Wasserlov of the far-right Jewish Power party also emphasized the need to increase armaments, and Orit Strok of the Religious Zionism party also called for the occupation of parts of Lebanese territory.
In addition to these statements, the arrest of family members of resistance forces in the Palestinian territories has a long history, and in recent years, the arrest of the wives and children of fighters in the West Bank has been used as a means of pressure.
The complete destruction of the homes of individuals associated with resistance operations and the displacement of residents are also other measures reported as collective punishment in these areas.
These statements come at a time when, according to published statistics, the Israeli army has killed 3,637 people, injured thousands, and displaced more than a million people since March 2 during its massive attacks on Lebanon.
