PNN – The British Foreign Secretary strongly criticized Itamar Ben-Gwer’s statements about setting Lebanon on fire, calling them “horrific and despicable.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Yvette Cooper posted a message on the X social network on Friday, writing: The call to burn all of Lebanon is a horrific and despicable statement from an Israeli minister who has rightly been banned by the British government.
He added: We call on Israel and Hezbollah to adhere to the agreed ceasefire and ensure that all civilians are protected.
This reaction came after Ben-Gwer claimed that “all of Lebanon must burn” and called for intensified attacks against the country, following the killing of four Israeli soldiers in a Hezbollah attack.
The British government previously sanctioned Ben-Gwer and the Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, due to their violent stances against Palestinians in the West Bank.
