PNN – An American network has reported damage to several of the country’s fighter jets during Iran’s missile attacks in Jordan.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the US news network CBS reported that several American military aircraft sustained damage during Iran’s recent attacks on the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.
According to the CBS report, eight F-15 fighter jets suffered minor damage, while an A-10 Thunderbolt (known as the “Warthog”) was struck and lost a wing.
The network has claimed that no U.S. troop casualties were reported as a result of these attacks and that U.S. forces fired more than 30 Patriot missiles to counter the barrage of Iranian strikes.
U.S. officials have expressed concern over the rapid depletion of Patriot missile stockpiles and other precision-guided munitions—a concern that has been reflected in various reports for weeks.
