PNN – The U.S. military command in the region (CENTCOM) announced that, following Iran’s response to Washington’s acts of aggression, two U.S. military personnel were killed in Jordan and another remains missing.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; CENTCOM stated on Saturday (local time, July 18)—without acknowledging the aggression against Iranian territory that had prompted the legitimate defense by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran—that on Friday (July 17), two U.S. military personnel were killed in Jordan while CENTCOM forces and their partners were defending against attacks involving Iranian ballistic missiles and drones. Additionally, another U.S. service member is currently missing.
This American military entity claimed that four additional service members were transported to hospitals in Jordan and discharged following treatment. A number of other troops underwent medical evaluation for “minor injuries” and returned to duty.
The invading U.S. military stated that, out of respect for the victims’ families, further information—including the identities of the fallen service members—would not be released until 24 hours after next of kin had been notified.
