PNN – Christian towns in Lebanon have dismissed the claims made by the Israeli Prime Minister as baseless.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the mayor of the town of Rmeich categorically denied Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements regarding a purported request by certain Christian towns in southern Lebanon to join Israel.
Hanna al-Amil, the mayor of Rmeich, emphasized that Netanyahu’s claim—asserting that certain Christian towns in the south have sought to join Israel for protection against Hezbollah forces—is completely baseless.
He dismissed these statements as false, clarifying that such claims bear no relation to the reality on the ground in southern Lebanon.
