According to the report, Donald Trump personally ordered the halt to a top-secret operation to seize Iran’s enriched uranium after facing dire warnings from top commanders that it would cause heavy casualties among American troops, collapse the global economy, and block shipping lanes.

CNN has claimed that the US military had prepared a highly protected and urgent plan in late May to send ground forces to Iran and physically seize the country’s enriched uranium.
Donald Trump stopped it after being aware of the severe risks of this operation, including heavy casualties for American soldiers and global economic collapse.
Two sources familiar with the matter told CNN that Gen. Dan Kaine, the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, held an emergency and confidential meeting on May 19 at the headquarters of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) in Florida.
The meeting was to consider options for sending ground forces to Iran’s nuclear facilities to remove about 440 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium (which is technically close to weapons-grade).
According to CNN, the meeting was so sensitive and urgent that Gen. Kaine left a meeting of senior NATO officials in Brussels unfinished and hurried to Florida.
Informed sources told CNN that after reporting to Trump, US President Donald Trump issued the order to “halt” the operation, given the serious warnings about the consequences of the operation (including high casualties among Special Forces, Ansarullah’s withdrawal from the ceasefire, and the closure of the Bab al-Mandab Strait).
An informed source said: “The risk is very high,” and it’s no wonder Trump hasn’t given the military the green light.
