PNN – The American network CNN reported, citing American officials, that disagreements over how to write the text of the agreement and the issue of lifting sanctions have delayed the finalization of Washington’s intended agreement to end the war with Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, CNN wrote: American officials claim that there are still differences between the parties regarding some key clauses of the agreement, especially how to draft the text and how to lift sanctions; differences that have delayed the process of finalizing the agreement.
However, these officials have expressed hope that the existing differences will be resolved in the near future.
Meanwhile, a US official described the presence of the Iranian delegation in Qatar as a “positive sign” and said that Doha has a high capacity for mediation due to its role in regional cases.
These statements come at a time when numerous reports have been published in recent days about the US’s efforts to reach a temporary understanding with Iran and reduce regional tensions.
