PNN – The former Chief of General Staff of the occupying regime’s army Gadi Eisenkot has admitted that regime change in Iran is impossible.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Shehab News, Gadi Eisenkot, the former Chief of General Staff of the Zionist regime’s army, stated today that a war with Iran would be aimless and that regime change in Iran is an unattainable goal.
Netanyahu’s main rival admitted: The goal of overthrowing the Iranian regime was unrealistic.
He stated: We entered into a conflict with Iran with the unattainable goal of regime change, and unfortunately, we acted without a clear objective in Gaza and Lebanon, while the complex challenges regarding Syria and Iran remain unresolved.
Eisenkot has previously criticized the performance of Netanyahu’s cabinet, stating that it failed to achieve the objectives of recent wars.
Ahead of the Zionist regime’s upcoming parliamentary elections—expected to be held by the end of October—new polls indicate a significant rise in the political standing of Gadi Eisenkot, a former army general and a prominent opponent of Benjamin Netanyahu; a trend that could alter the power dynamics in Tel Aviv.
According to polls by Hebrew-language media, if elections were held under current conditions, Eisenkot’s party could secure 21 parliamentary seats, whereas each of his main rivals would win only 17.
Recent polling results from the “Kan 11” network indicate that the party founded by Eisenkot in 2025 has—for the first time—surpassed its key opposition rivals: former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid.
