PNN – CNN reported, citing informed sources, that after an air accident, an American F-15 pilot reported seeing a coordinated formation of Iranian drones in a pattern resembling a “sea bride.”

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; four informed sources told CNN on Tuesday evening: A US fighter jet pilot who was rescued by special forces after being shot down in Iran in April has described a shocking sight before he jumped out of his plane: several Iranian drones hovering in midair, moving in unison and forming a “sea bride” formation.

The previously unreported account was shared by the F-15 pilot in a briefing with US intelligence officials after the incident, and it immediately sparked a heated debate within the US intelligence community that has yet to be resolved.

CNN reported, referring to the military power of the Islamic Republic of Iran: If the American pilot really saw what he described as a coordinated flight pattern, it would be a worrying development in Iran’s drone capabilities.

A source familiar with the story told CNN: Several drones were linked together and moving in unison, with smaller drones positioned under the larger ones like legs. They were truly aliens.

Another source said: The American pilot witnessed a minefield of drones in the air.

CNN added: While the exact cause of the F-15 crash is still under investigation, initial reports suggest that the drone flight pattern may have somehow enabled Iran to shoot down the American jet. The F-15 carried a crew of two, a pilot and a weapons systems officer. The F-15 downing was the first time an American aircraft had been shot down over Iran during the war.

Officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces announced that an advanced American fighter jet was targeted by Iranian defenses in the skies over Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad provinces. American media later claimed that the fighter jet was an F-15E Strike Eagle (two-seat).

According to CNN, US intelligence officials disagreed on how to interpret what the F-15 pilot described and whether the pilot could clearly recount the incident.
