PNN – A British newspaper has acknowledged that Iran has managed to maintain its missile combat capabilities.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the Financial Times wrote that Iran has preserved the combat readiness of its missile forces and adapted to the new conditions following five months of US strikes.
The report notes that Iranian engineers succeeded in rapidly rebuilding underground facilities after the bombings.
The newspaper reported that Jim Lamson, a former CIA analyst specializing in Iran’s military affairs, believes the recent attacks on U.S. bases in Jordan—which resulted in the deaths of military personnel—demonstrate Iran’s ability to penetrate the missile defense systems of the United States and Arab nations.
He stated that, in the case of Jordan, Iranian forces appear to have succeeded in further penetrating missile defense systems and enhancing the accuracy of their medium-range ballistic missiles.
According to the analyst, Iran has applied technical and tactical modifications to its missiles based on lessons learned from past conflicts.
