Former CIA officer: Iranians will never surrender.

PNN – An American political analyst and former CIA officer has stated that Iranians never flee and never surrender.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Michael Scheuer—a former CIA officer and visiting professor at Georgetown University—stated in an interview with RT that Iranians never surrender and have defeated enemies far more formidable than the United States.

In an interview with the network, he said: I have long questioned the common sense and soundness of decision-making within the U.S. government, and Trump is simply a noisier and more pronounced version of the leaders we have had before.

This American analyst and writer added: You have to keep in mind that we haven’t won a single war since 1945; I’m not even sure that, since 1945, we’ve actually taken up arms in a war that was worth fighting.

He went on to state: Regarding Iran, the fundamental problem is that no one has ever bothered to look at history books—something that, incidentally, no one does in our universities either. If they had, they would realize that the Iranians aren’t going to run away; they never run.

This American university professor noted that, throughout their nearly three-thousand-year history, Iranians have defeated enemies far more formidable and serious than us.

Scheuer emphasized: You are dealing with a U.S. administration that displays—to an extraordinary degree—its absolute ignorance and lack of awareness regarding the world. There is no one in this administration capable of explaining Iran’s history or identifying the defining characteristic of this nation when it grapples with hardships and crises.

He also said: This is the same problem we had in Afghanistan, the same problem we had in Iraq, and the same problem we faced in Vietnam. People do not like being pushed around or humiliated; and in many countries, they would rather fight and die than surrender. Peter that is the reality facing us, yet no one is willing to accept it. There is no way out of this situation, either.

He went on to state: The second point I want to make—and it is likely just as important—is that we are effectively the property and assets of the Israelis; Congress, the President, the big capitalists. Almost everything here is under Israeli control. No man has the courage or guts to stand up and say: ‘Enough is enough! I took this money from them; here, take it back—I’m returning it. Legally, do whatever you want to me, but we are no longer going to be the Israelis’ lackeys.’
