PNN – A former Israeli military intelligence official acknowledged that Iran’s response following regional developments has sent a clear message of self-confidence and deterrence both domestically and internationally.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Tamir Heyman said: Iran’s response to the targeting of Beirut’s suburbs was the first test of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei’s leadership, because in addition to sending a message of confidence to the Iranian people, he kept his promise to attack “Israel.”
He added: Iran seeks to end the war not only with a victory from the perspective of not being defeated, but with a victory based on new achievements, including sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and a broad deterrent (against Israel) that also includes Lebanon.
