PNN – Joe Kent, a former official at the Trump administration’s National Counterterrorism Center, called for an end to U.S. military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing: We are incapable of defeating Iran militarily.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Kent wrote in a post on X (formerly twitter): We must end this war (aggression) right now and withdraw our forces from the region.

He added: Remember, we could not defeat the Houthis (Yemen’s Ansarullah) militarily in 2025, and we know now that we cannot defeat Iran militarily; therefore, we certainly cannot defeat both of them simultaneously.

In conclusion, the former Trump administration official—emphasizing that the U.S. must immediately halt its military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran—stated: We must withdraw our forces from the region, rein in the Israeli (regime), and focus on economic negotiations to open the Strait of Hormuz—and now, the Bab al-Mandeb Strait as well—or else we will face a major energy crisis.

Joe Kent had previously stated that the U.S. should quietly withdraw its forces from Persian Gulf bases accessible to the Islamic Republic of Iran, noting that this move would ensure Iran could not attack U.S. forces and drag the country into another war.

Kent added that the U.S. must alter the circumstances within its control to prevent being drawn into a war again by the provocations of the Zionist regime or the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
