PNN – International media outlets have extensively covered the news that the IRGC Navy captured an advanced, intelligent American submersible at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the announcement by the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) regarding the capture and seizure of an intelligent, unmanned American underwater vehicle at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz has received widespread coverage in international media.
Reporting on the story, the British newspaper The Guardian wrote that Iran has announced the capture of one of the United States’ most advanced unmanned underwater vehicles during a complex intelligence and operational mission at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz.
Reuters also reported that the IRGC Navy announced it had seized an American unmanned underwater vehicle at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz.
Citing an IRGC statement, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that the vessel features state-of-the-art underwater technology and had been delivered to the U.S. Navy fleet in 2025.
