PNN – A Hebrew-language newspaper has acknowledged Iran’s upper hand over the US President regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
According to report of Pakistan News Network; the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported that although Trump had claimed he would open the Strait of Hormuz, it has become evident that it is Iran that is calling the shots.
Amidst regional tensions, the US President has repeatedly claimed that ships can easily pass through the Strait of Hormuz and even proposed unfeasible plans—such as having US military forces escort them; meanwhile, the Islamic Republic of Iran, by asserting its sovereignty over the Strait and designating safe routes, directs the movement of ships according to its own terms.
