Haaretz: Opposition to Israel is no obstacle to winning a US election

PNN – The Zionist media outlet Haaretz has acknowledged that even strong opposition to Israel does not pose an obstacle to victory in U.S. federal elections.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Haaretz, the victory of Abdul El-Sayed—an anti-Zionist Democratic candidate from the state of Michigan—in the U.S. Senate race demonstrates that opposing the regime is no barrier to electoral success.

Haaretz noted that the stunning victory of the Democrats in Michigan and beyond has exposed the limitations of the Zionist regime’s political influence more clearly than ever before. The candidate—the first Muslim elected to the Senate—secured victory despite AIPAC spending approximately $40 million to oppose him.

This Zionist media outlet added that Abdul El-Sayed (Abdelrahman El-Sayed) defeated Mike Rogers—a candidate backed by Trump—in the U.S. Senate race in Michigan, securing a pivotal seat for the Democrats and demonstrating that even staunch opposition to Israel is not an obstacle to winning federal elections.

Abdul El-Sayed, an anti-Zionist Democratic candidate from the state of Michigan, emphasized following his victory in the U.S. Senate election: The Israeli lobby, AIPAC, spent $42 million against us, yet we succeeded in defeating them. We do not want our money spent on racism, genocide, or wars. Donald—look, I know pronouncing my name was difficult for you; so, after J.D. Vance swears me in this January, you can just call me ‘Senator’ from now on.

Al-Sayyid had previously spoken out on several occasions against the crimes of the Zionist regime and the genocide in the Gaza Strip—a fact that angered Trump.
