PNN – With U.S. mediation, Saudi Arabia is receiving intelligence assistance from Israel; the situation appears to be moving toward normalization.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the Hebrew-language news site Walla—citing diplomatic sources—revealed that negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Israel are underway with U.S. mediation. In this context, Israel has assisted Riyadh in pinpointing the positions of the Houthis (Yemen’s armed forces) and monitoring their movements.
Informed security sources report that the advances—and victories—of the Houthis (Yemeni armed forces) have sparked deep concern among regional regimes.
According to diplomatic sources in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Israel have held talks—mediated by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)—aimed at assisting the Saudis in their war against the Houthi army through intelligence cooperation.
Elsewhere, the Walla report emphasized that, as previously noted, the Houthi army has intensified its attacks on the Saudi government over the past week; these actions include drone strikes on oil pipelines and pumping stations that resulted in the shutdown of a section of the main pipeline.
According to Walla, Houthi forces in Yemen have now seized control of a highly strategic island in the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, the Houthi military has taken control of several strategically located islands along the Red Sea and is blocking Saudi vessels from passing through the Bab al-Mandab Strait—a move that has effectively imposed an economic and political blockade on Saudi Arabia.
Citing security sources, the Hebrew-language outlet reported that this security situation has sparked deep concern not only among the Saudis but also among other nations in the region. This apprehension stems from a scenario in which the United States reaches an agreement with Iran and the Houthis, subsequently leaving the Saudis and others to face future challenges alone while they remain under constant attack.
As previously mentioned, diplomatic sources in the region have reported that Saudi Arabia and Israel, mediated by US Central Command, are engaged in talks aimed at assisting Saudi Arabia in this war.
Meanwhile, security sources told the Walla website that the decision by Donald Trump (president of the terrorist US administration) to authorize Saudi Arabia—a nation known for its abundant energy resources—to develop a civilian nuclear power plant has sparked serious concern in Tel Aviv.
This matter was raised with Trump, who swiftly made any progress on the issue of the civilian nuclear program contingent upon the normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. On the other hand, the Saudis prefer to pursue a diplomatic path with Israel only after the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been resolved.
According to this Hebrew media outlet, Israel and Saudi Arabia share common security interests—independent of the normalization of relations—and there is optimism that a roadmap could soon be developed, enabling the two sides to reach a political agreement.
