PNN – A source close to the negotiating team told: The Strait of Hormuz will not open without Israel’s containment in Lebanon.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; a source close to the negotiating team told: If Israel’s crimes in Lebanon continue and Lebanon’s territorial integrity is not guaranteed, no negotiations on other issues will take place.

He also continued: As stated explicitly in paragraph 13, the failure of the US to implement its commitment in paragraph 1 also means the failure to implement paragraph 5, which means that the Strait of Hormuz will not open.

According to this informed source, the release of part of Iran’s assets according to the memorandum of understanding and also the understanding reached with the Qataris, and that is in this very first step, the implementation of paragraph one regarding the war on all fronts including Lebanon, the complete lifting of the blockade and the issuance of scraps for the sale of Iranian oil, petrochemicals and derivatives, are the conditions for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

He emphasized: The lifting of the naval blockade of Iran alone is not sufficient for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz according to paragraph 5.
