According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the International Energy Agency (IEA) has warned that escalating tensions involving Iran are increasing risks to global energy security.
The agency stated that the deteriorating geopolitical situation has heightened uncertainty in international oil markets, particularly regarding the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The IEA emphasized that any sustained disruption to these routes could significantly disrupt global energy trade.
