PNN – Iran has raised the issue of attacks by American and Israeli terrorists on its space facilities with the United Nations.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the Islamic Republic of Iran—speaking at a UN working group meeting in Geneva—strongly condemned the illegal attacks on the country’s peaceful space infrastructure and called for a decisive response from the international community.
Iran emphasized that attacks on space research and scientific centers constitute a clear violation of the UN Charter, international law, and the Outer Space Treaty.
Describing the U.S. approach to justifying these attacks as dangerous, Tehran warned of the destructive role played by non-state actors—including Starlink—in providing services for hostile purposes.
Pointing to the U.S. “Golden Dome” program, the Iranian delegation called for the urgent drafting of a legally binding instrument to prevent the deployment of weapons and an arms race in space.
