The Iranian delegation wrote in a message on the X social network: Today, the Board of Governors, with a shaky vote, adopted another political resolution against Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities, a resolution that lacks the professionalism expected of a technical institution.
The Iranian delegation added: How can the International Atomic Energy Agency be trusted when it has been turned into a tool and instrument by warmongers and has become so dysfunctional that it is unable to even express simple concern about the most widespread illegal armed attacks, unprecedented in its history, against peaceful nuclear facilities under safeguards of a member state?
According to the Iranian delegation: This resolution hypocritically expresses support for a diplomatic solution, while the United States simultaneously commits more hostile actions, including against Iran’s civilian infrastructure, and seeks confrontation in various forums. A diplomatic solution requires a minimum of goodwill.
The statement said: Iran will protect its inalienable rights, including in response to this flawed resolution.
The IAEA Board of Governors today, once again biased against Iran, approved a US-proposed resolution and, without mentioning the attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, called on Tehran to declare its remaining stocks of enriched uranium and allow inspectors to verify.
