PNN – Reports indicate an Iranian missile attack on the Muwaffaq Salti and Prince Hassan bases in Jordan.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing news sources, the Muwaffaq Salti airbase in the Azraq region and the Prince Hassan airbase in Jordan are the targets of Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes.
Arab sources also report the sound of explosions being heard in Jordan.
According to reports, the Jordanian military scrambled air force fighter jets to intercept Iranian ballistic missiles due to the inability of American air defense systems to handle the threat.
Meanwhile, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported the interception of missiles over Irbid (in northern Jordan), the capital Amman, and other cities in the country’s east and north.
Syrian television also reported that Iranian missiles were intercepted over As-Suwayda as they headed toward Jordan.
Additionally, some reports indicate that the sound of explosions was heard in Bahrain.
