According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Iran’s mission in Vienna stated the following:
Rafael Grossi has once again expressed his concern regarding Iran’s 60% enriched uranium stockpiles, yet he has remained silent on the unlawful bombing of Iran’s safeguarded, peaceful nuclear facilities.
These acts of aggression also strike at the foundations of international law, the UN Charter, the NPT, and the Statute of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)!
He is well aware that, according to the Agency’s own accounting of Iran’s nuclear material, there has not been a diversion of even a single gram of such material. His own reports have never indicated the diversion of even a single gram of such material.
There is no cap on the level of enrichment under the NPT, and no one has the authority to invent an arbitrary limit.
It is surprising that he does not express concern regarding the vast quantities of weapons-grade nuclear material and plutonium stockpiled around the world—including in non-nuclear-weapon states!
