PNN – An Iraqi government official emphasized the need to transform understandings reached with Iran into operational economic projects.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Iraq’s Ministry of Trade welcomed the visit of the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament to Baghdad and announced the government’s firm resolve to elevate economic relations and turn memoranda of understanding into tangible projects.
Mohammed Hanoun, spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, emphasized that the upcoming phase requires organized action to operationalize bilateral agreements in the fields of trade, investment, transport, and services.
He stated that the security of trade and transit routes is a shared necessity, noting that Baghdad attaches great importance to ensuring the flow of goods and safeguarding economic interests, particularly regarding exports and international border crossings.
