PNN – Iraqi sources have reported the withdrawal of a US military unit from Baghdad’s Green Zone and its transfer to Erbil.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Iraqi sources stated that a unit of US troops stationed in Baghdad’s Green Zone was withdrawn and transferred to the Harir base in Erbil, located in northern Iraq.
According to a report by the Iraqi media outlet Al-Maalomah, a unit of US troops has arrived at the Harir base in Erbil, northern Iraq, from Baghdad’s Green Zone.
The report indicates that the withdrawal of US troops from the Green Zone and their transfer to the Harir base in Erbil came as a surprise.
Iraqi sources also reported extensive flight activity by US terrorist forces’ aircraft, adding that the reason for these movements remains unclear.
These sources noted that the US terrorist military is continuing to redeploy some of its troops in Iraq to the Harir base, even as calls from Iraqi political, tribal, and religious circles for an end to the presence of these terrorists have intensified.
