PNN – Yossi Yehoshua believes that the current frustration in Israel is even more severe than the 33-day war, even despite the favorable performance of the army and military institutions.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Yossi Yehoshua, a military analyst for the Israeli regime, admitted that the feeling of defeat among the settlers is even more intense than the atmosphere after the Second Lebanon War in 2006 (the 33-day war).
He was quoted by the Israeli website “Akka” as saying: In 2006, the settlers’ frustration was caused by the poor performance of the Israeli army, which entered the war unprepared and ended it unsuccessfully. As a result, the then Chief of Staff of the IDF, Dan Halutz, and the then Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, paid a heavy political and social price.
Yehoshua added that the current frustration is much deeper because, in his opinion, the air force, the military intelligence department known as “Aman” and other army forces performed outstandingly in the field.
This Zionist analyst emphasized that despite this field performance, the final result in terms of the Zionist regime’s deterrent power was far worse.
