PNN – Sheikh Al-Sadiq Al-Ghariani, the Mufti of Libya, emphasized in recent remarks that the US admission regarding its own casualties and damage has exposed Jordan.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; citing Al-Manar TV, Al-Ghariani stated that for weeks, Jordan had claimed its army was intercepting all Iranian missiles, asserting that whatever fell within the country consisted merely of shrapnel and missile debris resulting from defensive operations.
He added that the country had also falsely claimed there were no US military bases on its soil, maintaining instead that it held only agreements with the US for military training.
Al-Ghariani stated: After the missiles struck U.S. bases and inflicted casualties and damage upon the Americans, they were unable to conceal their losses.
The Mufti of Libya noted: With the U.S. announcement regarding the death and injury of its military personnel in Jordan and Iraq, Jordan—which had previously concealed the matter and falsely claimed there were no U.S. bases on its soil—was exposed.
Al-Ghariani said: The U.S. attacks on Iran over the past ten days are in retaliation for the extensive casualties and damage the Americans sustained in Jordan.
The U.S. military command in the region (CENTCOM) previously announced that, following Iran’s response to Washington’s acts of aggression, two U.S. service members were killed in Jordan and another remains missing.
