Maariv Warning: Do Not Underestimate Iran’s Power

Underestimate

PNN – In an analytical report, a Hebrew-language media outlet has warned the leaders of the Zionist regime not to underestimate Iran’s capabilities.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the report’s author, Eli Lion—whose piece was published this Friday afternoon on the outlet’s website—warned that Iran’s capacity and ability to set the entire region ablaze must never be overlooked.

In the introduction to this report, the Zionist journalist emphasized that Iran has threatened to launch large-scale attacks against airports, energy facilities, undersea cables, and infrastructure—should the “terrorist” U.S. administration and the Zionists engage in further military adventurism—and that the West is terrified by the prospect of such extensive damage.

He further noted that the message recently issued from Tehran is clear and concise: if the United States and Israel resume an air campaign against Iran, the Iranian response will not be limited merely to strikes on U.S. bases and warships; rather, it will encompass large-scale attacks on airports, oil pipelines, and the infrastructure of the Persian Gulf states.

Elsewhere, the report—citing Western media—notes that these warnings, conveyed both publicly and through confidential diplomatic channels, are intended to serve as a deterrent; however, intelligence sources caution that the threat is real and must be taken seriously.

The outlet acknowledges that, despite (alleged) estimates by the U.S. Department of Defense in September—suggesting that the United States could destroy up to 90 percent of Iran’s industrial infrastructure related to drones, ballistic missiles, and naval capabilities during the initial stages of a conflict—Tehran still possesses a substantial arsenal.

The destructive potential of this arsenal has already been demonstrated. In the early stages of the conflict, Iran inflicted heavy damage on U.S. airbases, embassies, and the command headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. It also targeted energy and industrial facilities in the United Arab Emirates, a major gas terminal in Qatar, and airports in Dubai, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

Despite the dire state of Iran’s economy and the heightened risk of retaliatory strikes against its own infrastructure, experts warn that Tehran is prepared to rely on asymmetric strategies capable of inflicting severe damage at a relatively low cost.
