PNN – The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in the Lebanese parliament Mohammad Raad, referring to the country’s government agreement with Tel Aviv, stated: The essence of this agreement is to provide political cover for the Zionist regime’s continued occupation of Lebanon.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Manar, Mohammad Raad, head of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese parliament, condemned the recent shameful agreement between the pro-Western government in Beirut and the Zionists in the United States, saying: The statement issued by the so-called trilateral framework in Washington, including the United States, Israel, and Lebanon, reveals the distortion of facts and concepts; especially regarding the legitimate resistance, its rights and national role, as well as those who pose a real and legitimate threat to Lebanese sovereignty. This statement deliberately distorts the truth and intentionally adopts and commits prohibited and reprehensible acts.
He added: This statement also demonstrates the complete surrender of the Lebanese authorities to America and their complicity with the Zionist enemy against their own people, a people who are deeply rooted in their land, reject the Israeli occupation, and are steadfast, dedicated, and refuse to surrender or surrender.
Mohammed Raad stressed: The position of the Lebanese authorities, as expressed in the statement, goes beyond mere shame, disgrace and evil. It means betrayal of the sovereignty of Lebanon, the rights and interests of the Lebanese people, their dignity and ideals, and a clear disregard for the Lebanese, deceiving them and distorting their free and honorable national will.
He added: The essence of this agreement is to provide political cover for the Zionist regime’s continued occupation of Lebanon and to create a way for America to escape its commitment to forcing Israel to withdraw completely.
He said: The essence of this framework agreement lies in its evil and sinister role, which aims to legitimize the occupation of Lebanon by the Israeli occupiers and allows the United States to evade its explicit commitment to Iran regarding its responsibility to pressure Israel to completely withdraw from Lebanon and respect its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The preamble to this framework agreement declares that Lebanon, under American supervision, has agreed to Israel’s terms for withdrawal and that both sides have committed to disarming the resistance as a prelude to Israel’s re-establishment, not a complete withdrawal.
Raad emphasized: This is a sinister statement—completely unacceptable and rejected. May God protect Lebanon and its people… and may the responsibility rest with honorable, free, courageous, and independent individuals.
