According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing RIA Novosti, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko said on Monday: We hope that the talks between the United States and Iran will continue to reach a final agreement; it is necessary to maintain the political and diplomatic process.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister added: America’s influence in the multipolar world is declining, and this trend is evident in the conflict with Iran. America could not defeat Iran, and this means Washington’s defeat. By waging war against Iran, America showed the world not its strength, but its weakness.
Georgi Borisenko then added: Russian forces are present in the country at the invitation of the Syrian authorities, and the new authorities of the country emphasize their interest in the presence of these forces.
