PNN – A prominent American publication has acknowledged that the American people are feeling the consequences of the war against Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Newsweek reported that after six months, the U.S. has failed to achieve any results in the war against Iran, yet it has succeeded in disrupting the energy market and driving up diesel and gasoline prices.
The International Energy Agency estimates that over 10 million barrels per day of Persian Gulf oil production remained offline in August. The likelihood of a rapid improvement in this situation appears relatively low.
Washington and Tehran have yet to reach an agreement regarding the fate of the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Iran’s allies are exerting pressure on the region’s other critical chokepoint, the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
