PNN – The former US president admitted in a speech: America must learn that bombing and bullying do not achieve results.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, former US President Barack Obama stated in an exclusive interview with ABC News regarding the Iranian nuclear issue: It is doubtful that an agreement (between Tehran and Washington) will be reached that is significantly different from the previous nuclear agreement (the 2015 JCPOA agreement); an agreement that was effective for a long time until the United States withdrew from it (in 2018 and by Trump).
The former US president continued: I hope the bombings stop so that ordinary people do not suffer any more. Let us remember that in relation to our foreign policy problems, the idea that we can achieve solutions by bullying and bombing does not work. Although it may sometimes seem desirable; but the reality of the matter is that we must spend time trying to find a way through diplomacy.
Barack Obama then clarified: In this way, the need to start a war disappears. It seems that this lesson (relying on diplomacy instead of war) must be learned now.
