PNN – Criticizing the consequences of a war against Iran, Obama stated: This war led to attacks on U.S. allies and bases, the death and injury of American troops, and the depletion of our missile stockpiles.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Mayadeen, former U.S. President Barack Obama declared: Iran now possesses a ‘veto’ over the Strait of Hormuz.
Pointing out that seven months have passed since U.S. President Donald Trump declared “victory,” Obama asked: What is the situation now? Our allies and bases have been targeted, Americans have been killed, and hundreds more have been wounded.
Obama further noted that the conflict has resulted in the depletion of U.S. missile stockpiles.
The former U.S. President pointed to Trump’s misguided policy regarding Iran, emphasizing that there is no disagreement as to why the prices of oil, diesel, gasoline, and virtually everything else have risen: the cause of these price hikes is the war against Iran.
Regarding Iran’s nuclear program, the former U.S. President acknowledged: Iran did not possess nuclear weapons, because we implemented the nuclear agreement without firing a single missile; we were able to reach an accord solely through negotiation and diplomacy.
Criticizing Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Obama described him as an unserious individual, asking: How much time do you think our Secretary of Defense spends in the morning looking at himself in the mirror?
He added: What I mean is, he cares about his hair because he thinks that’s how warriors are supposed to be!
Obama continued: These are not serious people, and the problem is that, in the end, you end up paying the price for their lack of seriousness.
